New Family Home in the Countryside
Based in the Essex countryside and with sustainability considerations being an important part of the build, Ed and his family wanted to source products that would complement their 'Eco' vision.
My parents had Mumford & Wood windows fitted nearly 20 years ago and they look as good today as they did when new. Project Overview
Being a carbon neutral and Made in Britain manufacturer and using natural timber materials for all products, Ed thought that Mumford & Wood would be the perfect fit for their project.
Traditional timber sash windows and timber french doors helped them to achieve them the classic, natural aesthetic they were looking for whilst achieving the thermal and acoustic performance that was so important for their new build family home.
They also chose an elegant, hand-made timber entrance door featuring fully glazed sidelights, ensuring their hallway was always flooded with light.
